Waterford Wildcats are through to the U20 National Cup after a pulsating semi final in Neptune Stadium, Cork.
They were victorious over a gallant Portlaoise Panthers on a scoreline of 81-77.
Wildcats were comfortably ahead 49-33 at the break but Portlaoise, with unbelievable 3 point shooting, had the difference down to a single point with 3 minutes remaining.
Late scores from Kate Hickey and Abbey Flynn secured the win for Wildcats who will face the winners of today's other semi final between Dublin's Templeogue and Ulster Tigers.

The final is in the National Basketball Arena in 2 weeks time.
The game's top scorer was Wildcat's Kate Hickey with 26 points, Abbey Flynn had 17, with Debbie Ogayemi netting 14 .
