Waterford team gets off to a good start in the Kennedy Cup.

The Waterford Schoolboy League got off to a winning start in their first game at the 2019 Kennedy Cup after defeating the West Waterford East Cork League 1-0.

Conor McCabe grabbed the vital goal on 49 minutes when he fired home at the back post after a Callum McFadden right-wing corner kick.

Waterford play Wicklow in their second game at 10.30am tomorrow  morning.
