A County Waterford club has suspended activity involving their Premier squad pending the results of Covid-19 testing.
Ballinroad FC issued a statement confirming a player had informed them that he had started displaying symptoms of the virus and was waiting for a test.
Activities involving the 1B and Youth squads have also been suspended due to an overlap of some personnel.
It means Ballinroad's Premier League Game at St Laurence's Road against Villa tonight has been called off.
