The Waterford Schoolboy Football League have cancelled their 2019/2020 season.
The committee has issued a statement saying the safety and welfare of all stakeholders is paramount.
The new season is expected to begin in mid-September at the earliest when they have seen the effects of schools reopening.
They're recommending a return to training at the end of August and have appealed to all clubs to continue to adhere to the guidelines set out by the HSE and the FAI.
