Déise hurling boss Liam Cahill says that his team have been practicing penalties ahead of Saturday's Munster semi final.
All championship matches must be completed on the day and Waterford have prepared for all eventualities.
“It’s something new to our games. It happened my own club Ballingarry in relegation this year with Kiladangan’s senior B team. We got beaten in the semi final on penalties and ultimately paid the price in the final by getting relegated. These matches have to be finished on the day so it’s another aspect that you have to cover off. There’s nothing as bad as you’re level after extra time and penalties are on the agenda and you haven’t them practiced. For what it’s worth, we have been practicing them.”
