Ballinroad have taken to the Premier League like a duck to water. Having defeated Carrick United in midweek they came out on top at The Orchard on Sunday morning. Diarmuid Sheehan gave them the lead after 54 minutes. Ben Palmer equalised for Tramore Rangers one minute later but then Ballinraod scored three more goals courtesy of Jason Mulligan (65) Michael Byrne (68) and Paul Whyte (83), Final score; Tramore Rangers 1 Ballinroad 4.
Ferrybank made it two wins from two games when they defeated the Villa in Connors Park. Aaron O'Connor put the home side in front after 20 minutes. Eoin Rhodes levelled matters on 32 minutes and Meschac Babutu put Ferrybank 2-1 in front on 35 minutes. Babutu scored one again ten minutes from full time. Conor Kilgannon scored a late consolation goal for the home side. Final score; Villa 2 Ferrybank 3.
Carrick United came out on top in Tom Drohan Park against a Dungarvan United team who have lost their opening two games. Joe Hart (45) Stephen Kerwick (79) and Kyle Doherty netted for the hosts. Final score; Carrick United 3 Dungarvan United 1.
Waterford Crystal went goal crazy against SouthendUnited in Southend Park. David McGrath put the Tangerines in front after 5 minutes but it all went pear-shaped for the home side after that goal. Shane Rochford netted on 24 and 59 minutes. Nathan Phelan (65) Aidan Tracey (80) and Andrew Power (84) also found the net. Sandwiched in between those goals was a Jake Mooney hat-trick.
