Waterford are back in a Munster Minor hurling Final for the first time since 2014 following an impressive semi-final win over a lacklustre Tipperary side at Páirc Uí Rínn.
The Déise won by eight points having conceded four 2nd-half goals which will be a concern going into the Provincial Final, Waterford held a commanding 1-14 to 0-5 lead at the interval.
Captain Patrick Fitzgerald led the way for Gary O' Keeffe's charges with 0-11 (5 from play), while the lively duo of Peter Cummins and Jack Twomey netted either side of half-time for the Déise.
Darragh Minogue fired a brace of goals for the Premier county in the second period as they mounted a comeback with Taurai Shayanewako and captain Ronan Connolly also raising green flags.
Waterford can now look forward to a Munster Final meeting with Cork on August 9th.
