Cork defeated Waterford by five points in a pulsating clash in Thurles to reach the Munster Senior Hurling final, where they will play Clare.
The teams were level at the break, ten points apiece after Déise goalkeeper Stephen O' Keeffe pulled off two point blank saves
The two sides traded scores in the first half before Maurice Shanahan struck a goal for the Déise on 45 minutes.
Kieran Kingston's Cork charges kept the scoreboard ticking over however and the final score there was Waterford 1-15 Cork 0-23.
