The Waterford ladies will face Westmeath in the Division 1 Relegation Play-Off this afternoon at 2 o'clock in Abbotstown.
The Déise suffered defeats to Cork, Meath and Dublin in the group stages.
Mairéad Wall is expecting another difficult assignment today:
"Listen, we've had huge battles with Westmeath over the years and I mean, they're a formidable side and it's going to take a huge effort.
"Every team in this league is at the top level and you just can't take anything for granted. It's going to be huge.
"They're coming into this trying to stay up in Senior, the same as us, and we just don't want to let it slip. We're just going to really have to try and put everything we've learned from the last three games into practice.
"All the work we've been putting in - we just have to try and bring it all on Sunday because I think it's going to be a huge battle."
Neither side have registered a win so far this league campaign.
However, Mairéad says Waterford have been training well under new boss, Pat Sullivan:
"In fairness, we've been doing huge work off the field with the new the nuitrition, the fitness, the strength and conditioning, the football, and the panel can't be faulted for all the work they're putting in.
"Look, it's difficult. Three losses is very difficult for us to take when we are really giving it everything but I think the work is starting to come to the fore with us and hopefully we can make Pat and the rest of the management team proud [today]."
WLR will have live updates from that game with Michelle Ryan on duty.
