Waterford commence their All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship campaign this evening when they face an away tie against Munster rivals Tipperary.
Tipp knocked the Déise out of the Championship at the Quarter-Final stage last season and have already beaten Waterford twice this year in the league and Munster campaigns.
Speaking to WLR Sport, Waterford midfielder Lorraine Bray says preparations have gone well.
"We've very happy, we're well prepared.
"The management have done all they can with us, to have us prepared
"There's a good buzz around the camp, this is the day we've been waiting for since we started.
"Hopefully we'll get off to a good start."
The Cappoquin player says there's been major changes to the level of preparation over the last number of years
"There's definitely been a big, big improvement, it's come on every year, in every county panel, managers are learning new things.
"The boys that are in, everyone involved around the team are very professional. They're second to none and we're delighted to have them.
"They have every faith in us so that's brilliant to have them backing us all the time."
Déise attacker Beth Carton says they're relishing the challenge.
"We've been training since October now for the first round of championship.
"We've played them in the quarter, we've played them in the league and Munster.
"It's time we put it right and go up to the Ragg and hopefully come away with a result."
Throw-in at The Ragg is at 5pm, and Tomás McCarthy will keep us updated here on WLR.
