West Waterford's Gary Hurley has been handed an invitation to play in the seven million Euro Dubai Duty Free Irish Open at Portstewart.
The 24 year old Challenge Tour regular joins former Irish amateur team mates Gavin Moynihan and Dermot McElroy on the list of invited professionals, alongside five times European Tour winner Michael Hoey and former PGA champion Simon Khan.
In all 17 Irish professionals will be in the field with the invited quartet joining Rory Mcllroy, Darren Clarke, Graham McDowell, Paul Dunne, Paul McGinley, Padraig Harringhton, Shane Lowery plus the six PGA Irish Region qualifiers.
