Deise to begin league campaign away to Dublin

Deise to begin league campaign away to Dublin

Liam Cahill's Waterford side will kickstart their Allianz National Hurling League Division 1B campaign away to Dublin in Parnell Park on February 6th.

The Deise will also face the long trip to Antrim as well as a visit to their near-neighbours Kilkenny as part of their 2022 campaign.

Laois and Tipperary will be this year's visitors to Walsh Park.

Last season, Cahill's men defeated both counties on their way to the All-Ireland semi-final, where they defeated by eventual Liam McCarthy winners, Limerick.

The campaign will begin in Parnell Park on February 6th, before entertaining Laois at home a week later.

February 27th will see the Deise head North to Corrigan Park, Belfast for a 1pm throw-in.

March 6th is a day to mark in the calendar as Cahill goes toe-to-toe with his home-county, looking for a third win on the spin against the Premier in all competitions.

St. Patrick's Weekend will throw up a storm on March 20th as the Deise will finish Group 1B with a trip to Nowlan Park to face arch-rivals Kilkenny.

Sligo at home is on the agenda on March 20th before the campaign finishes with a trip to Breffni Park to face Cavan on the 27th.
