Phoenix Patterson's outstanding season at Waterford FC has been rewarded with the PFA First Division Player of the Year crown.
The awards were announced in Dublin last night.
The striker scored 17 league goals, as well as contributing nine assists this season.
The Blues remain in the First Division for 2023, following their promotion/relegation play-off loss to UCD.
It's not yet known if Patterson will still be at the club when the season returns, amid rumours of a move to a Premier Division club being on the cards.
