Waterford FC make the trip to the league champions this evening in the Airtricity League Premier Division.

The Blues travel to Co. Louth to take on high flying Dundalk who hold an eight point lead at the top of the table.

Waterford resumed their campaign after the mid-season break last Friday, but suffered a heartbreaking 2-1 defeat at the death to Bohemians.

The Lilywhites have won the two previous encounters to date this season.

Blues manager Alan Reynolds says Friday's defeat was a tough one to take.

Maxime Kougan, the Waterford defender says they must aim to turn things around.

Kick-off in Oriel Park is @ 7:45pm, and WLR will broadcast the game live thanks to Clem Jacob Hire, with commentary team Matt Keane and Gavin Whelan.

Elsewhere in the top flight, St. Pat's play host to Shamrock Rovers in a Dublin-derby at Richmond Park, and Sligo Rovers face UCD at the Showgrounds.

Two games kick-off at 8 pm, Finn Harps welcome a struggling Cork City to Finn Park while Bohemians entertain Derry City in Dalymount Park.
