Waterford FC got back to winning ways last night in the League of Ireland with a 3 - 0 win over St Patricks Athletic at the RSC.
It had been five games since the Blues last a notch in the win column, but on a fresh evening at home for John Sheridans men, the recent run of form was thankfully broken.
The goals came from Ali Coote (24'), John Martin (28') and Michael O' Connor (81') to seal a comprehensive victory and three points for the league table.
The Blues are now back in 4th place having dropped to 8th over the past weeks.
At full time, manager John Sheridan said that "the victory was not as easy as it looked but he was thrilled to get the three points and keep a clean sheet"
Next Friday (September 11th) the Blues travel to Dalymount Park to face Boh's who sit 7 points ahead of them in the table
