The Waterford hurlers play their first competitive game of the new season this afternoon.
The Déise welcome Cork to Fraher Field for a Munster Senior hurling League clash.
It's Liam Cahill's first game in charge having being appointed on a two-year term with the option of a third season.
Iarlaith Daly, Kieran Power, Neil Montgomery and Jack Fagan will make their senior debuts. Jake Dillon returns at midfield after missing last season.
New Waterford captain, Pauric Mahony says it's a busy time of the year with a lot of college games ongoing as well.
"College, Fitzgibbon hurling is taken very seriously. You can see the work the lads are doing at WIT and lads with UCD and so on
"It can be quite challenging.
"That's why we have a good psychical backroom team there to make sure the players aren't doing to much at this time to the year, trying to avoid burnout come March or April when you need to be fresh, hungry and raring to go.
"We have a good management team that are balancing this pretty well."
Throw-in at Fraher Field is at 2 pm, and we'll have updates here on WLR across the afternoon.
