Waterford have beaten Sligo by two points in Round 4 of the football league.
It finished up 2-12 to 0-16 at Markievicz Park this afternoon.
Facing a tough side in Sligo, and having travelled so far from home, Waterford were without their regular travelling support but they gutted out a game that many would have expected them to lose.
There were two last minute changes to the team. Aaron Jones replaced Brian Looby while Donie Fitzgerald stepped in for Michael Curry.
After losing Darragh Corcoran in the first half to a black card, Benji Whelan had to make an adjustment but Waterford fought on.
There were fantastic points from Jason Curry and Robbie Flynn.
