The Republic of Ireland are set to discover their UEFA Nations League opponents later, with the draw taking place in Amsterdam.
The League is designed to give teams competitive games between major tournaments.
Stephen Kenny will be in charge of the boys in green by that stage.
Ireland are in League B, Pot 3 along with Turkey, Northern Ireland and Slovakia.
Their potential opponents will come from the other pots in league B, with one team from each creating four groups.
The inaugural competition was won by Portugal in summer 2019, as they saw off Holland 1-0 in the final.
