Five Waterford sides have booked their passage to Round 3 of the FAI Junior Cup.

Tramore came from 2-0 behind to defeat rivals Hibernians 3-2 after extra-time.

Antonio Petrovic and Adham Masood had given Hibs a 2-0 lead but Dara O'Brien was sprung from the bench, firing two in normal time to bring the game to an extra half hour - before notching the winner to secure his hat-trick and Tramore's passage to Round 3.

Portlaw United got the better of the all Premier League clash between themselves and Tycor - coming out on top 2-1 at the Paddocks.

Piltown AFC downed Premier opposition in Dungarvan United.

Emmet Johnson and Eoin Smith secured a 2-1 win, as Michael Kiely's late strike proved consolation at best for the Kilrush outfit.

Carrick United are through to Round 3 after coming out the right side of a penalty shootout against St. Paul's.

Danny Murphy gave Carrick the lead but goals from Jamie Hutchinson and Jimmy Holohan Byrne swung the tie back in St. Paul's favour.

A 96th minute equaliser from Francis Roche kept Carrick alive, and they ultimately prevailed 4-3 on spot-kicks following the 2-2 draw.

De La Salle 1A put eight past Dunmore East as they won out 8-3.

Diego Hartnett, Sam Ahearne and Ayobami Oriola scored two each - while Ciaran Stapleton and Eoin O'Mahony were also on target.

Eoghan Reilly, Patrick Queally and Ian Dunne found the net for Dunmore East.
