Waterford Minor footballer's suffered a 21 point defeat to Tipperary last night in Round 2 of the Electric Ireland Munster Minor Championship.
The home side romped to a 3-18 to 1-3 win at FBD Semple Stadium as John McCormack's men made it back to back wins Phase One.
The visitors trailed by just a point after 20 minutes but a goal from Michael Connellan in 1st-half injury time saw Tipp go in leading by seven points at the break.
Paddy McCarthy kicked two frees for Michael Murphy's men in that opening period as Waterford defended well but ultimately couldn't make the ball stick up front.
Tipp kicked the first six points of the 2nd-half with full-forward Ronan O' Brien their go too man as he ended with 0-6 (3 from play and 3 frees).
Ben Boland netted a fine solo goal for the Dèise in the 47th minute while substitute Colm Sullivan kicked the final point of the game.
Emmett Bonner and Liam Freaney added further goals for the Premier in the final ten minutes as they kicked scores at ease, both sides emptied their benches in the second period.

Waterford will try and pick themselves up for their final round away to Limerick next Thursday, the Shannonsiders overcame neighbours Clare in Miltown-Malbay by 4-6 to 0-15 to pick up a first win.
