There has been time changes to both Waterford's hurling and football Allianz National league games this weekend.

The hurlers will begin the defence of their Division 1 league title on Sunday afternoon with Dublin the visitors to Fraher Field for the opening round.

The game will now throw-in at 2:30pm instead of 2pm, the game will be broadcast live on WLR thanks to George Corbett Skoda, with commentary team Kieran O' Connor and Fergal Hartley.

Waterford are expected to be without some key personal for the opening rounds of the league with Austin Gleeson and Dessie Hutchinson ruled out through injury, but a number of young guns and new players on the panel will get their opportunity.
