Olympian Thomas Barr from Ferrybank AC made his seasonal debut last evening in Abbotstown in a 400 metres flat race indoors and won it with a fast time of 46.88 seconds.
In second place was Waterford AC's Eoin Kenny in 48.28,- a personal best for him.
In the girl's u16 800 metres Lucy Clinton from Waterford was second in 2.20.55, and in the u13 girls 60 metres Sheila O'Donovan Ferrybank was third in 9.18.
