Waterford's Thomas Barr will be in action at the IAAF Diamond League meeting in Paris this evening.
He runs from Lane 1 in the 400m hurdles at 7pm Irish time.
It's the strongest field of runners he has so far faced this year including the World Champion Karsten Warholm from Norway.
WLR's athletics correspondent Fintan Walsh says "all of his seven opponents have recorded a faster time this year so a very good time from gun to tape will be required."
