Waterford ladies football boss Pat Sullivan felt that Saturday's clash with Cork should have been played at a Munster venue.

O’Moore Park in Portlaoise was chosen to accommodate a TG4 double header with Dublin and Mayo also on the billing. Around a hundred fans were in the stand for the throw in.

"It's great that we get the coverage from TG4 and it's great for the girls but we had a team 25 minutes up the road from where we are. We had to leave Dungarvan this morning at 11 o'clock for O'Moore Park. It's a super set-up, a super stadium, brilliant. But I think there's a lot of nice stadiums very close to us in Munster we could have played in and I think we would have had a good crowd there. It's a double header and TG4 determined where we went but it's disappointing from a fans point of view. In vital games like these, you need the crowd behind you."
