Racecourse Manager, Owen Byrne said "There is a lot to look forward to at Tramore Races this August, the festival really provides something for everyone. All the signs are good from a racing perspective, we have a fully sponsored card every day, the addition of two new top-class races to Thursday and Sunday's cards with increased prize money for these races of 30,000, a significant increase in prize money and the track is in great shape. In terms of sales, all the indications are that it will be a cracker, pre-sale tickets are going really well and hospitality packages and group deals are flying too. Our new catering and bar providers have been in place for a few meetings now and have gone down a treat. Many festival racegoers will be sampling their produce and our new look facilities for the first time in August so we are all really looking forward to it."

Thursday 15th is the official opening of the festival. Racing enthusiasts and the wider horse racing industry will be rewarded with the introduction of the exciting 'Flynn Hotels' feature race, worth €30,000 which should attract a competitive field. The first of seven races goes to post at 5pm.

the Style Evening at Tramore Racecourse. With over €5,000 in prizes up for grabs, top fashionistas, as well as best dressed gents, will be hot-footing it to the track to take part.
Online registration for male and female entrants is now live at tramoreraces.ie and style scouts and judges will be circulating the enclosures on the evening too.

Sunday 18th is the Family Fun afternoon and kids of all ages take centre stage with a mega selection of bouncy castles, outdoor and indoor games, pony rides and face painters.
