Waterford sharpshooter Stephen Bennett is the November winner of the WLR Granville Hotel GAA Award.
The Ballysaggart ace got 5 goals and 89 points in all competitions.
Stephen is happy to get the award.
"It's great to be picked for these kinds of things
It's disappointing the way the year ended but it was nice to get to [an All Ireland Final] the way things were."
Bennet was man-of-the-match as the Déise defeated Kilkenny in that memorable All Ireland semi-final at Croke Park.
"It was a brilliant game for all of us in fairness. We started off slow but we had a great second half
A lot of lads stood up, things just went right, when things are going well you try different things.
There were a lot of lads, Jack Fagan - I think he won 10 or 11 puck outs, there were a lot of lads who stood up that day."
Bennett stepped up as free taker this season in the absence of injured captain Pauric Mahony and finished the championship as Waterford's top scorer with 1-54.
"When you're taking the frees and they're going bad it's awful, when they're going relatively well it keeps you in the game, it keeps your confidence up. I was delighted enough to be taking them."
