There were contrasting fortunes for Republic of Ireland under-21 strikers in the FA Cup fifth round last night.
Adam Idah was among those to score for Norwich City, but Troy Parrott saw a penalty saved as Tottenham lost 3-2 on spot-kicks after a 1-1 draw at the new White Hart Lane.
After the game, Spurs midfielder Eric Dier confronted a fan in the stands.
His manager Jose Mourinho, didn't condone it, but explained why; "This person insulted Eric, the family was there - the young brother was not happy with the situation and then Eric, I repeat did what we professionals cannot do but did something that probably we would do".
