Waterford born goalkeeper Brian Murphy may return to play in the League of Ireland as he is due to be released from his contract with Cardiff City this month.
WLR's Matt Keane says the 36-year-old could be on his way back to the League of Ireland.
He is under contract with Cardiff City until June but, with four goalkeepers at the club, he will be allowed to leave this month.
Brian says he has had a couple of enquiries and he has spoken to one manager in particular.
Brian Murphy has played with Manchester City, Portsmouth, Ipswich Town and Swansea City during his spell in Britain. He played with Bohemians in the League of Ireland, he was voted Goalkeeper of Year on three occasions.
