Lee Power took over Waterford at the end of 2016, renamed the club and formed a new trading company
After spending ten years in Division One the Blues won promotion to the Premier League in 2017.
Manager Alan Reynolds says everyone will have to be patient for the moment.
He said "maybe people have jumped the gun on it, the ball is obviously in Lee's court, he has to decide what he is going to do going
forward, I don't think he is going to leave the club stranded by any means, he just has a bit of thinking to do and that is going to take a bit
of time so people are going to need to be patient, I have to be patient regarding signing players at the minute but we will just see where
it goes.
Alan Reynolds says the decision not to allow the club play in European football this season did not help matters.
"Lee has put an awful amount of money in, he saved the club, he was obviously disappointed with the European fiasco, but he has a bit of thinking to do on it
and he needs a bit of help because he is putting in a lot of money".
