In Oslo last evening in the 400 metres hurdles at the famous Bislet Games in the Diamond League, Thomas Barr had his best placing of the season so far as he finished second in a season's best time of 49.12 seconds.
Hot favourite and reigning World and European Champion Karsten Warholm Norway was a most impressive winner in a best time ever for him of 47.33 and Kyron Mc Master (British Virgin Islands) was third in 49.12 a season's best for him also.
Thomas had two runners behind him who had beaten him in Rome last week, so overall a very positive and pleasing performance by the Ferrtbank native.
Very happy with tonight's race, going in the right direction! And cool to be part of a European record breaking race 😱🤩. Looking forward to a few weeks training now... https://t.co/UKJ5w2DpdB#OsloDL#DiamondLeague#RoadToTheFinal pic.twitter.com/ct9RCYcF8X
