Dungarvan jockey Sean Houlihan is celebrating another victory after recording a whopping 34-length winner at Exeter this afternoon.

In desperate weather conditions, The Philip Hobbs trained 7-year-old blitzed the 5-horse field despite being the highest-odds competitor at 6/1.

He tore away late on to land the £21,400 featured race on the afternoon card.

It caps off a fantastic two days for the Houlihan family after Sean's younger brother Niall rode a 19/1 treble at Plumpton yesterday.

Speaking after the race, Houlihan was delighted with another winner - and hopes his recent spell of good form will continue.

"It was only about three out when I started to realise how clear I was. I never felt like I was going quick - and then when I looked behind, I had a good look and saw where they were. He's had a run and that's probably helped him. He disappointed on his first run last year - then won on his second run. It was great to get his head in front."Things are working well at the moment. Our horses are running well, so long may it continue."

The Dungarvan jockey very nearly landed a stunning 83/1 double in the following race when Jarlath, trained by Seamus Mullins was 2nd to the Jackie du Plessis trained Forget You Not, who won at 25/1 with James Best on board.

Houlihan rides the Sheila Lewis trained Mitchell Street at Worcester tomorrow, while his brother Niall takes four rides at Fontwell.
