Touraneena's Seamus Power sits inside the top 10 at the Sanderson Farms Championship on the PGA Tour ahead of Sunday's final round in Mississippi.
The West Waterford man shot a 69 on Saturday to move to 14 under par overall, and sits six shots off the lead, held by Keith Mitchell on -20.
Power dropped a shot on the second as his tee shot and approach both drifted right, but a run of three birdies in four holes between the fourth and seventh got him back on track – the first of those a long-range putt at the par-three.
It got even better for Power at the 11th as his approach on the par-five was spectacular, coming to a stop just over three feet from the hole for an eagle.
A bogey on 16 halted his progress, but he got that shot back at the next with a fabulous approach, however, he handed another shot back on 18.
Sunday’s final day is also another big day for Power who can play himself into some signature events via the Non Next 10 on the PGA TOUR.
He tees off at 7.40pm Irish time alongside Daniel Berger.
