There's plenty of Gaelic Games on Saturday with the action getting underway from 2.00pm when the Western Intermediate clash between Modeligo and Clashmore/Kinsale Beg thows in at the Fraher Field.
That's followed by the first Senior Championship game of the day as Ballygunner and Passage go at it in Walsh Park. Both teams are secure for a quarter, but neither will want to give up the top spot in the group and form will be necessary going into the knockout games. Tallow have already been eliminated from the group due to the strong starts from Ballygunner and Passage.
Also at 2.30pm is Intermediate tilt between St. Saviour's and Dunhill in Kill.
There's short break until 5.00pm when Tourin and An Rinn throw in in Bushy Park in the Junior A Group 1 game.
At 6.00pm there's three games to consider. Two intermediate contests with Ardmore v Shamrocks in Fraher Field and Ferrybank taking on Ballyduff Lower in Fenor. There's also a Junior C clash between Roanmore and Michael MacCraith Tramore in Cleaboy.
The Senior meeting of De La Salle and Abbeyside at 6.30pm has less riding on it than most games as both teams are certain of their place in the quarter finals, but similar to the first senior game of the day, both teams will want to top the group ahead of the knocukout phase.
Rounding off the evening's hurling is Geraldines and Colligan in Cappoquin - Colligan had a stay of execution last week when they came out on top of An Rinn and now have the chance to progress if they are to have championship games to play going forward.
The Senior Camogie Club Championship continues this weekend. St Anne's and Cappoquin are in Dunhill while Lismore are at home to Gailtír. Only one of the two fixtures last weekend was played to a finish when Cappoquin and Tramore drew 1-08 each. The clash between Gailtír and Da La Salle was called off when Courtney Healy suffered a serious leg injury.
There's two Intermediate games to consider also with Modeligo v An Rinn as well as Butlerstown v Gailtír B.
In the Junior ranks, Abbeyside take on Bricky Rangers while Tallow are away to St. Annes B.
There's League Of Ireland action at 2.00pm when Waterford FC welcome Cork City to the RSC for what will be John Sheridan's fist competitive game at home. The Blues are currently 4th in the league table after making a great start to the return against Shelbourne FC. The new manager will be hoping to continue winning ways when the Cork men make the journey down as two successive three pointers would set them up for a legitimate challenge for the top three.
There will be live updates on WLR throughout the match thank to Matt Keane out at the RSC.
The Champions League also make a return this weekend. Barcelona are at home to Napoli where the tie is level going into the second leg, while Chelsea have their work cut out for them when they travel to the Allianz hoping to overturn a 3-0 hammering in Stamford bridge at the hands of the Bavarians.
