Waterford camogie captain Niamh Rockett has netted three goals in her last two championship games. She shot 2-2 in a player of the match display against Limerick and added another green flag away to Westmeath last Sunday.

"It's something I've been looking at over the last couple of years. I've played a lot as a defensive wing forward but now I'm trying to push up the field and be more a threat. There's no point being a threat in the half back line or the full back line!"

The Déise have reached the All Ireland quarter finals for the third year in a row. Fergal O'Brien's side face Tipperary on Saturday at 2.45 in Páirc Uí Chaoimh. "Hopefully we can go a step further. We're happy to reach the quarter finals but it isn't just about being happy to get there. We want to keep progressing."

She misses the crowds at championship matches. "I'd love to have my family and friends there, to watch the game and see them afterwards. It's definitely something I'd love to have especially when you're getting to the knockout stages. I found it hard, like when you get to a county final and you can't see them."
