Waterford FC have announced the signing of former Manchester United academy man, Remi Thompson.
Thompson has also been on the books of Championship club Huddersfield Town and recently-promoted Fulham.
Thompson most recently lined-out at non-league level in England, that being in the Ishtmian League for Merstham.
The 20-year-old said he's happy to now be plying his trade at the RSC:
““I’m really happy to be here. I’ve been down to a couple of matches recently and you can see it’s a great club to be around.The fans, the stadium, and all the people working behind the scenes make it a good place to come and play football.”

The attacking midfielder signs for the remainder of the First Division season - and could be in line to make his debut on Friday night against Longford Town.
Remi Thompson came on for his U-19 debut yesterday. in a 3-3 draw with Shelbourne.
