The Waterford hurlers have been drawn against Cork in the Munster semi final on the weekend of October 31/November 1. It will be the 20th championship meeting between the two counties since 2002.
The Liam MacCarthy competition will revert to a knockout provincial championship for 2020 with two rounds of All Ireland qualifiers. On the other side of the draw, Limerick will meet Clare with the winners to take on defending champions Tipperary in the last four.
The All Ireland hurling final will be held on Sunday, December 13 with the football fixed for Saturday, December 19. All games will be decided on the day.
There will be no backdoor in the All Ireland football championship. Benji Whelan's Déise will come up against Limerick in the Munster quarter finals on the weekend of October 31/November 1.
