The sun is out and turf flat racing is back in Ireland and the UK. Racing returns to the Curragh on Saturday afternoon with an eight race card. The feature race is the €100,000 Irish Lincolnshire with 27 runners heading to post at 4.16pm.
A lot of horses are having their first outing after a break and a number of big priced winners could oblige.
Kilgobnet owner/breeder Michael Ryan runs a well bred sort in the opening maiden contest Finsceal Go Deo (Kingman-Finsceal Beo) trained by Jim Bolger.
It's also significant that Ryan Moore travels over from Britain for a number of mounts.
The English Lincoln with 22 runners at Doncaster is off at 3.35pm.. One entry who won't lack for race fitness is Modern News who finished third at Meydan (Dubai) on February 11th.
There is no shortage of prize money on offer in Dubai on World Cup Day.

Cappoquin trainer Rob Murphy runs Darrens Hope in a Grade 3 Novice Chase at Limerick. (3.26pm) while the consistent Minx Tiara represents the Fastey For Fun Syndicate in a handicap chase at 4.01pm.
At Naas Henry De Bromhead has a nice filly called Rosslare Strand in the opening contest while Jason The Militant returns to action in a Listed race at 4.25pm.
