Henry De Bromhead was in double-winning form at Clonmel on Friday. Cornerkova at odds of 11/1 jumped particularly well to capture a beginners chase while 7/1 shot Withallduerespect ran out a clear-cut winner of the handicap chase.
The Henry De Bromhead trained 4/1 shot Downtown Queen made every stride a winning one obliging over hurdles at Downpatrick on Sunday.
AL BOUM PHOTO RETIRED
A Tramore standing dish on New Years Day Al Boum Photo has been retired aged 10. He won back-to-back running’s of the Cheltenham Gold Cup while he rattled off four consecutive victories in the Savills Chase at Tramore. Stablemate Melon has also been retired. While Al Boum Photo is to go eventing Melon is going down the team chasing and hunting route.
