There are no less than 9 fixtures between Ireland and Britain on Easter Saturday.
In the opening contest at Fairyhouse runaway Tipperary bumper winner Ballybough Native makes his debut for Henry De Bromhead. This horse was a runaway winner of a Tipperary bumper when trained by Ian McCarthy back in March 2021.
There is a valuable hurdle contest at 4.15 where Sweet Street represents Cappoquin trainer Roger McGrath.
In the concluding bumper the Declan Queally trained Oakroom Lady should appreciate the step up in trip to two and a half miles having run well over two miles at Clonmel.

Unlucky to fall when well on his way to victory at Cheltenham the Willie Mullins trained Galopin Des Champs bids for compensation in the Gold Cup Novice chase at Fairyhouse.
On the same card there is a valuable mares hurdle final at 3.10. There are three Waterford mares engaged in this race.
Derrylinda is owned by the Dunphy brothers from Portlaw, Kilbarry Chloe chasing a hat trick of victories for Con O Keeffe and Tadhg O Sullivan while owner Fiona O Connor, trainer Shane O Brien  and jockey Ian Power are represented by My Design.
After enjoying little luck in the Grand National last Saturday the Henry De Bromhead trained Minella Times turns out in a Grade 3 Chase and is joined by the Fastey For Fun Syndicate owned Cusp Of Carabelli and the Rob Murphy trained Darrens Hope.
On Monday at 5pm Fairyhouse stages the Irish Grand National over 3 miles and 5 furlongs. 30 runners head to post chasing a first prize of €275,000 including the Henry De Bromhead trained Full Time Score a previous course winner in early February.

Greyhound racing

There is a ten race card for patrons to enjoy in Kilcohan Park on Saturday evening with the opening contest underway at 7.50pm.. The card features the four first round heats of the Waterford Track Supporters A4 event (Races 3,4,5 and 6)Via the live inter track link patrons can also view the action from Shelbourne Park. where a 12 race card features the semi-finals of the Suncroft Festival Puppy Oaks.(Races 8 and 9).The inter track service will also show the semi-finals of the Con and Annie Kirby Memorial Open competition from Limerick (Races 9 and 10).
