Conor Prunty and Jamie Barron will miss Waterford's Munster SHC quarter final with Clare on Sunday.
The Déise captain and vice-captain are not part of Liam Cahill's matchday panel due to quad injuries. Austin Gleeson has been passed fit and will wear number eight on his back. 2020 All Star attacker Stephen Bennett will skipper the side.
The team shows seven changes from the All Ireland final last December as Billy Nolan, Shane Fives, Conor Gleeson, Iarlaith Daly, Darragh Lyons, Peter Hogan and Shane Bennett all get the nod.
Iarlaith Daly will make his first championship start at centre back. The long serving Kevin Moran starts at number seven. This is sixteenth season in white and blue.
Waterford v Clare will be the George Corbett Big Match on Sunday. Join Kieran O’Connor and Eoin Murphy for live coverage from 3 o’clock.
