A steady opening round of 67 for -3 leaves Seamus Power tied for 15th at the Travellers Championship.
Opening up his round on the back nine with Rickie Fowler and Adam Long, Seamus went for par on his first three before birdying the 13th.
He would go on to pick up another on the 15th, but then handed one back on the par 3 16th.
His drive from the tee on 15 travelled every inch of 276 yards landing on the green. The following eagle attempt was missed, but hge followed up for birdie.
The 16th was his lone dropped shot of the day. Driving to the left side of the fairway, his chip in left him with 9 yards to make up but he two putted for bogey moving him to -1.
Making the turn to the front nine he would pick up two more on the 1st and 2nd to move to -3.
The remainder of his round was steady par making shots for the world number 36.
He hit 10 of 14 fairways and 12 of 18 greens in regulation.
This afternoon he's out for an early tee time. Once again Seamus is paired with Rickie Fowler and Adam Long when they get underway from 12.55 pm.
