It was a Saturday to forget for Seamus Power as he carded a +3 74 in his third round at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro Am, surrendering his overnight lead and falling back two shots off the pace heading into the final round of action.

Going into the day on sixteen under par after consecutive rounds of 64, Power was in pole position but his day got off to the worst possible start as he bogeyed the first to move back to -15 - the score currently held by the overnight leading group of Beau Hossler, Andrew Putnam and Tom Hoge.

Patrick Cantlay, Jordan Spieth and Joel Dahlmen are one shot further behind on -14 with the Touraneena native sitting in seventh place at -13.

Having bogeyed the first, Seamus then dropped birdies at the third and fourth to move up to -17, however his front nine soon unravelled with bogeys at the 5th, 7th and 9th as he reached the turn two over par for the day to date.

A birdie at the tenth showed a potential glimpse of a round revival, but the stroke gained was given straight back at the following hole - before five consecutive pars and another costly bogey at the 17th saw the 34-year-old head to the clubhouse with a card marked 74.

Power will tee off at 5.22pm this evening in the company of Jason Day.
