Waterford's Seamus Power has a mountain of work to get through if he is to recover his weekend in California.
The Ballinamult man carded a first round 72 to finish level par on day one of the Pebble Beach "Pro Am" for a share of 75th on the leaderboard heading in to day 2.
American Patrick Cantlay holds the lead on 10 under, 2 shots ahead of his nearest chasers Akshay Bhatia (Usa) and Henrik Norlander (Swe).
Course record = tied.

In what was a very mixed round of golf for Seamus, he birdied the 4th, 7th and 15th - but it was the bogeys on the 6th, 8th and 9th that he will wish to forget, cancelling out his previous good work.
Power is due to tee off 4.41pm Irish time today from the 10th tee.
