Waterford referee Thomas Walsh (pictured centre) will take charge of the Allianz National hurling League Division 1(B) opener between Wexford and Laois on Sunday afternoon.
The Modeligo man will be the man in the middle for the all-Leinster clash at Chadwicks Wexford Park which will throw-in at 1:45pm.
Thomas will be assisted on the day by fellow Déise referees, Nicky O' Toole from Naomh Pól and Nicky Barry of Passage who have been appointed as linesmen.
Meanwhile, Kilkenny whistler Seán Cleere has been appointed as referee for Waterford's clash with Cork in the opening round of the hurling league on Sunday afternoon.
