Following last night's Waterford Junior League EGM the following ten people were nominated for the new committee which will be elected under the auspice of the Munster Football Association early next week.
John Foskin, Brendan White and Damien Tiernan, three of the outgoing committee. Willie Moore (St Saviour's), Kevin O'Hanlon (Tramore FC), Ger Murphy (Dungarvan United), Bill Gourley Ballinroad), Paddy Byrne (GranaghF C), Brendan Rea (Waterford Crystal) and Derek Doheny (Villa FC) make up the ten nominees.
A spokesperson of the outgoing committee described the meeting as 'business like, civil and highly amicle'.
The officers are expected to be elected next week making the new committee official. As it stands, it's uncertain when football will resume in light of the latest covid-19 restrictions.
