Munster prop James Cronin has been banned for a month following an "unintentional" anti-doping violation.
Cronin tested positive for two banned substances after Munster’s Heineken Champions Cup draw away to Racing in November.
An investigation found that the 29-year old had been feeling ill before the game and was dispensed the wrong medication at a pharmacy.
Cronin is banned until May 16th and says he hopes the episode teaches his fellow players a valuable lesson.
Munster Rugby and @IrishRugby have issued a statement following the EPCR disciplinary decision in relation to James Cronin.
CEO Ian Flanagan said: “This has been an extremely challenging time for James and the province, and we are glad it has reached its conclusion."
