Waterford's Tom Ahern and Jack O'Donoghue will represent Munster in South Africa as they embark on their tour for this year's United Rugby Championship.
Graham Rowntree's men are taking on the Stormers from 5pm on Saturday, before a clash with the Sharks a week later.
The Stormers are currently bottom of the standings while Munster sit seventh having been defeated 26-12 against Leinster last time out.
Ahern says despite that defeat, playing in Croke Park was an unforgettable experience.
"We talked about it during the week, how awesome of an experience it was going to be. I think especially there was a lot of lads with GAA backgrounds and growing up and going to matches with your family - it was strange playing a rugby match there, but at the same time, just seeing the 80-something thousand people that were there and the noise that was coming from it, it was an unbelievable experience and I'm proud to be a part of that one.
Ahern says while Stormers are bottom of the table, it's going to be a big challenge.
"We're under no illusions. They've played their first few games away in Europe. Anytime you come down to South Africa, you're expecting a massive battle up front and they have a lot of speed on the edges as well. We're just expecting a massive battle from them. It's their first home game of the season. They're obviously going to be trying to get us. We're just expecting a big physical, fast battle."
While it's nice to tour South Africa on the days off, the Ardmore man is adamant that Munster are firmly focused on the task ahead.
"I think it's kind of a nice balance down here. You have plenty of time to switch off so you can get your recovery in - but when we're on, we're on. It's all about finding that balance when we enjoy our time off - but when it comes to training, when it comes to matches or meetings, we switch right back down to that mindset."
