Jayson Molumby the 21 year old Cappoquin born midfielder has signed a loan deal with Championship club Preston North End.
He played in the same division with Millwall on loan in 2020.
He is on a long term contract with Premier League club Brighton but they feel he needs more first team experience as they battle to retain their Premiership status.
Jayson was capped at full interval for the Republic of Ireland last year.
He says he is looking forward to helping Preston reach the Championship play-off's and linking up with his friend Seanie Maguire, the former Waterford FC striker at Deepdale.

Speaking about the move, Molumby said: “I am really happy to be here. I spoke to the gaffer and the Irish boys here, who I know quite well, and it was a no brainer in the end and I am looking forward to getting started.
"Seani [Maguire] and Alan [Browne] speak very highly of the club and then the gaffer spoke to me and was the same and, in the end, I just wanted to get it done and I am really excited to get going and I just want to play some games and help the team.”
