Modeligo bid to win the Munster Junior Club Camogie Championship title this afternoon when they take on Limerick champions Croagh-Kilfinny in Fethard.

They are through to the decider following a comprehensive win over Tulla of Clare in the semi-finals, having earlier seen off Lismore in the Waterford Intermediate Camogie Championship decider.

With the likes of Mairead O’Brien and Rhona Drohan in their ranks, Modeligo will fancy their chances of picking up provincial silverware come throw-in at 1pm.

Selector Micheal Power is expecting a tough encounter.

“We were probably in bonus territory going up to play Tulla in the Munster semi-final”, said Power. “We didn’t know that would go but we had a very good performance and a very good win. I suppose it’s a little bit beyond bonus territory now. It would be great to win it but we really don’t know too much about what we’re expecting to face on Sunday other than we’re going to be up for a serious test and a serious challenge. We’ll have to rise to that occasion and see can we match it.”

Modeligo versus Croagh-Kilfinny of Limerick is the Munster Junior Club Camogie Championship Final.

Throw-in in Fethard is at 1pm and we’ll have updates throughout from Tomas McCarthy.
