Modeligo are in Munster Junior Club Camogie Championship Semi-Final action this weekend when they take on Knockananna of Wicklow.
The Munster champions take on the Leinster Champions on Saturday at 1.30pm in Enniscorthy.
It's been a historic year for Modeligo, lifting the Waterford intermediate title to secure senior camogie for 2025 - before going on to capture the Munster junior crown with their one-point win against Croagh-Kilfinny of Limerick last time out.
Selector Micheal Power says they've come this far - and they want to go all the way.
"It's been an unbelievable year so far. It keeps going. every day out now is a bonus - but it's been great. We want to drive on now and win it. It will be great in years to come to look back at 2024 and all that we've achieved. The support that we've received has been unbelieveable. There was as many people up in Fethard the last day for the Munster Final - possibly even more - as there was in Cappoquin for the county final - people have rallied around us all year long."
Modeligo are an incredibly young team to be at this stage in the season - with the oldest player in the squad being just 25. There are ten minors on the squad, and Power says there is so much potential to work with in the group.
"The average age of the squad is only about 21-22. It's fantastic - that may bring with it that little bit of inexperience going into a game like this. We're facing a Knockananna side who have been here before. They've been pretty successful in Leinster. Our side will be fearless going into it - and they've nothing to fear. We're going at this with the intention of winning it."
